We really enjoyed the clarity and cleanliness of the family suite, which made our stay comfortable.
Unfortunately, the incline to reach the hotel was quite challenging, especially after a long day of exploring. Walking back up was exhausting, which took away from the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the noise from nearby areas occasionally disrupted our peaceful night’s sleep.

The family suite we booked was comfortable and clean.
During our stay, we encountered some concerns. The shower door in our bathroom didn't close properly, causing the bathroom floor to become slippery and hazardous. Additionally, the cave’s limited ventilation made it feel quite stuffy, especially considering it had only one small window near the door. Lastly, the narrow uphill road leading to the hotel was difficult to navigate, which made accessing the property challenging.

The breakfast at Salkim Cave House is a feast—Yunus serves a Turkish breakfast that’s like a hug on a plate, with fresh ingredients keeping your energy up for all those ballooning adventures! The location shines bright, just a short walk to nearby gems like Topdeck Cave Restaurant, where you can dive into authentic Cappadocian cuisine.
Honestly, nothing to complain about except we wish we’d stayed longer. With a day of unfortunate weather, we missed out on those dreamy Pigeon and Love Valley walks. But every sunrise spent watching balloons from the terrace was a memory we’ll cherish!

Salkim Cave House is an enchanting place with cozy cave rooms that offer a perfect view of the balloons during sunrise from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was a delightful continental spread every morning, and Yunus, the host, made sure that every need was met with a smile. The location is ideal, just a short walk down to the charming downtown area.
Bathroom door issue.

The cave accommodations offered a unique charm and were well-maintained, providing an authentic experience. The owner was exceptionally accommodating, assisting in organizing hot air balloon rides and local tours, enhancing our stay significantly. Mornings on the terrace revealed stunning views of the valley and balloons, truly a picturesque sight. Although breakfast was simple, it held a homemade touch that was enjoyable. However, the proximity to downtown meant the surrounding area was a bit busier than expected at times.

The Cave Family Suite was super comfy and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Great views from the roof terrace were a highlight, especially in the mornings! The only thing was the need for some updates around the room, but it didn’t ruin our stay. Yunus made everything feel special!
